SINCE I STARTED: 514 miles

Two things: 1) I am one walk away from being totally and completely done with the Marina District (!!!); 2) I need to overcome my fear of those hills in the middle of the city (identified by the white void in the center of my map).  I think my problem is that I had such a hard time walking the hills in the Inner Sunset that I really have no desire to get back to that part of town, which is completely unfair to those neighborhoods since I hear they have killer views and lovely homes.  My plan for overcoming this issue is to start at the top of the hill and walk DOWN, doing my darnedest not to have to walk UP any of those inclines.  We'll see how this goes...
