2.8 miles in the Sunset District

Since I took this walk over the July 4th weekend, I went on the hunt for the most patriotic house in the neighborhood.  Here's what I found...

While I couldn't immediately spot displays of patriotism, I couldn't help but notice this neighborhood's display of power lines.

I mean, like, A LOT of power lines. As I wandered around, gazing up, I imagined how gorgeous it would look if the lines were either a) multi-colored or b) strung with light bulbs.  Imagine it.

Continuing my search for American flags, I found what appears to be a Christmas wreath...

 ... and a high concentration of yard ornaments.

But just as I was giving up hope of finding any flags, I spotted one! Yay, America!
